Musikverein The Musikverein was inaugurated in 1870. It is the home base of the famous Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. It has 1,744 seats and standing room for 300 spectators (plus the newly added seats of the New Halls). Here you find the famous Golden Hall from which the New Year´s concert is broadcast each year to 1,3 billion people in 44 different countries across the world. |
