The square itself is huge, with grass areas and two dominating statues of riders. One of them represents Prince Eugen, the other one is Archduke Karl. If you walk up to the main entrance of Heldenplatz, you will enjoy an astonishing view over the Ringstrasse, the Museum of Historic Art and the Museum of Natural Science, Parliament, the Town Hall and the Museum of Ethnology. |
